A Lazy, Local and Stange Day at St. Vrain!

Hi!
Back at St. Vrain State Park with little to report. After a busy day yesterday, the family needed some down time. Then a huge storm rolled in and hovered for a long time. It was hard to tell if it was coming or going and we ladies started, stopped, started, stopped the evening walk several times.

After the first round of downpours, it dropped about 20 degrees. Hooray! It is just delightful out!
To the west of us, the clouds just stopped at the foothills and created this cool fog like mountain scape!

This is blessed cloud cover lasted just a short time before the sun blasted through again.
**I was told by the lady that cut my hair that this area sees over 300+ days of sun! Even when it snows! One day 12″ of snow, the next day sunny and 60….in January!

Just like those pictures we all see on TV!!! Campers Vs Storm!
That storm just turned right back around again! A half hour later, more sun and blue skies!
Oh well, We ladies gave up on the walk and headed back. Mother Nature’s way of telling us to stay close to home today.

More to come….Xxoo
